Finally, the time has come!
This Saturday I’m embarking on my biggest adventure yet:
Exploring Europe by driving more than 10.000 kilometers.
I’m leaving from Lisbon Saturday on the 25th June, and I’ll be back in Lisbon towards the end of September. It will be 3 months of exploring and working at the same time.
This has been a dream of mine since 2010, when I was thinking how would it be to go on a very long tour, all around Europe, from the farthest East (Romania), to south (Greece & Italy), to west (Portugal) and to north (Denmark & Sweden).
Since then, I moved to Lisbon, so the plan is pretty much the same, I’m just starting and ending in Portugal.
I’m planning to document my adventure right here on my blog.
Bookmark the #eurotrip index to stay up to date with where I’m at.
The plan is to go through all the points in the image above, learn about the culture, the places, the food and the people within every location, but largely in these countries:
- Belgium* 🇧🇪 (Ghent)
- Netherlands* 🇳🇱 (Amsterdam)
- Germany 🇩🇪 (Hamburg, Berlin, Munich)
- Denmark* 🇩🇰 (Copenhagen)
- Sweden 🇸🇪 (Malmo)
- Czech Republic* 🇨🇿 (Prague)
- Slovakia* 🇸🇰 (Bratislava)
- Hungary 🇭🇺 (Budapest)
- Romania 🇷🇴 (Timisoara, Cluj-Napoca)
- Serbia 🇷🇸 (Novi Sad, Belgrade)
- Greece 🇬🇷 (Siviri, Corfu)
- Italy 🇮🇹 (Napoli, Florence)
- San Marino 🇸🇲
- France 🇫🇷 (Monaco, Marseille)
- Spain 🇪🇸 (Barcelona, Valencia)
- Gibraltar* 🇬🇮
I have never been in 6 of the above countries (marked with an *asterisk).
I’d also be grateful for any tips on must-see or must-do activities in all the places that I’m going through.
