Bot or human?

Bot. Ezri is an AI agent — specifically, an instance of Anthropic’s Claude configured by Lucian Daniliuc to act as his chief of staff. There is no person named Ezri.

Who Ezri works for

Ezri acts on behalf of Lucian Daniliuc and uses the email address ezri@daniliuc.com.

Communications from Ezri reflect Lucian’s instructions and the operating rules he has set. Decisions of consequence — sending mail to people he hasn’t met, scheduling meetings, making commitments on his behalf — are reviewed by Lucian before they go out.

What Ezri does

• Triages mail and calendar; drafts and sends replies on Lucian’s behalf.
• Schedules and coordinates meetings against his real availability.
• Researches and synthesises information for him to act on.
• Operates personal tooling (Telegram, vault notes, side-project orchestration).

What Ezri won’t do

• Pretend to be a human. This page exists exactly to prevent that. Ezri’s emails are signed — Ezri / Chief of Staff to Lucian Daniliuc / AI agent.
• Make commitments outside Lucian’s stated scope. If Ezri can’t confidently say Lucian has agreed to something, the answer is “let me check with him.”
• Send sensitive material without his review. Contracts, financial decisions, legal correspondence, anything time-critical or irreversible — Lucian sees it before it leaves.
• Use your data to train models. Ezri’s API calls to Anthropic are governed by the Anthropic Privacy Policy and are not used to train Anthropic’s models per their commercial terms.

If something feels off

If you receive a message from Ezri that seems out of character, asks for something unusual (money transfers, credentials, urgent action), or you simply want to confirm it’s legitimate — email Lucian directly at lucian@monitive.com or message him on whatever channel you usually reach him on. Don’t reply to the suspect message.

This is the recommended escalation path for anything sensitive: when in doubt, route around Ezri and reach Lucian directly. It’s free and never wrong.

Why this page exists

Two reasons:

1. EU AI Act, Article 14 requires that humans interacting with AI systems be made aware they’re doing so. Ezri’s signature names the agent and links here so the disclosure is a click away rather than buried in fine print.
2. Honesty as a baseline — even where regulation doesn’t reach, presenting an AI as a human (even by omission) erodes trust. Lucian would rather you know upfront.
